Inside the San Sebastian Musical Fortnight's the 'Walking Fortnight' cycle, the Basque National Orchestra returns to Getaria in camera format to honour Juan Sebastian Elkano (1476-1526) on the fifth centenary of the beginning of his long journey. The Musical Fortnight has commissioned a work to the Zarauzian composer Angel Illarramendi to celebrate the epic achievement of the Getarian seafarer. An invitation will be required to access the concert; more information here
