Robert Treviño will then conduct Anton Bruckner’s Symphony No. 9, a masterpiece created in the last years of the composer’s life. Bruckner was always very insecure about his symphonies, but he was convinced that “The Ninth will be my masterpiece. I only ask God to let me live to finish it”. It is one of the most important works of Germanic music.
