The height of the sounds, their duration, the intensity with which we produce them and the particular timbre or colour which enables us to distinguish the individual voices of those around us... All of these elements allow us to create pretty, different, interesting melodies, rhythms and sounds... to create - music! But we’re still missing an essential element: fantasy, the imagination that allows us to fly and create. Because, where does music come from if not from inside us?

From Bach to Britten, visiting the classics and modern on the way and introducing children's songs, this programme is presented as a series of short works, in some cases for piano four-hands, in others for cello and piano, and sometimes even with singing!
