This concert brings us Rachmaninoff's paradigmatic creation: the Piano Concerto No. 2, one of the most popular (and difficult) works in the piano repertoire. It will be performed by Federico Colli, winner of the Salzburg and Leeds competitions, and acclaimed as one of the most imaginative pianists of his generation; and Giancarlo Guerrero. Two works by Richard Strauss will complete the programme.
