The Orchestra will head for Germany to give three concerts at the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf as part of the Symphoniker's Subscribers' Season, and another at the Stadthalle in Gütersloh. The Orchestra Music Director, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, will conduct the Orchestra on its 14th international tour and its seventh to Germany. Following the concerts given in Italy, this will be the Colombian conductor's second international tour at the forefront of the Basque National Orchestra. The programme chosen for this tour includes Arriaga's "Los esclavos felices", Shostakovich's Concerto for cello and orchestra no. 1, to be performed by the Basque Orchestra along with France's Gautier Capuçon, and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5.
