La Biennale di Venezia

58 Festival Internazionale di Musica Contemporanea. One of the most prestigious cultural institutions in the world, the Biennale encompasses art, music, dance, film, architecture, theatre and historical archive. The Basque Orchestra is listed on the bill of the 58th edition of the most prestigious contemporary music festival, with two concerts on October 9 and 10. In the first it will play works by Basque composers; and in the second works from the Tesela project (extended upon in the Other Activities section). The Basque Orchestra will therefore include yet another landmark in its history with this participation in the Biennale di Venezia.
