This recording, published by the Decca label, is conducted by the maestro from Madrid José Ramón Encinar, a great expert in contemporary music, with a team of artists whose leading voices corresponded to Ana Mª Sánchez (Gernika), Manuel Lanza, Gustavo Peña, Alfonso Echeverría, Enrique Baquerizo and Fernando Cobo, all joined by the Bilbao Choral Society. Also worthy of mention is the exhaustive work carried out on producing the extensive booklet which accompanies this edition, complete with the testimony of experts and of the composer’s son himself.
