After observing the many facets of human beings, such as the different manifestations of their spirituality or their will to create and transform the world around them, Robert Trevino will conclude the Season by showing another sphere that is not often shown in sound: private life. First, with Henri Dutilleux, who in his Correspondances selected fragments of letters by authors such as Rilke, Mukherjee, Solzhenitsyn and Van Gogh to give shape to five songs that reflect on our place in the cosmos, with a use of rhythm and colour of great sensory impression. They will be sung by one of the most internationally-renowned Basque sopranos, Elena Sancho Pereg. The more everyday, but no less fascinating, side will be shown in Richard Strauss' Symphonia Domestica, which transforms the daily joys and small mishaps of family life into sonic adventures.
